A little update...

Well, how's this for an update... we're getting a fridge today!!!! One month after we moved into our new house. :) Needless to say we're all really happy about that. Sounds like it's not really a big deal but you try living without a fridge for a month and see how excited you are when do have one again!!!

In other news, I've applied for the Bachelor of Theology degree and the next few months are looking like they're going to be very exciting! But what else would I expect eh?! Living life with God is like a crazy-fun rollar coster... "Get ready for the ride of your life" as Lucinda Dooley said this week at Hillsong Women. So true, so true...

Well, I'm hungry so, this is Drea, signing off. Love you all!! ( I was trying to draw a kiss for you but I couldn't figure it out so this'll have to do...) xoxo

Road Trip Pictures 2

Hey, so these pictures are from day 2 and 3 (read previous posts to find out what we did on those days). I'm not sure what order these pictures will turn out to be in but obviously one tells you that we were in Coffs Harbour, two of them are pictures on the beach and two of them are pictures from the beautiful sunrise we watched in Byron Bay. :)

Yay for comments!

Ok, really the only thing I have to say is, YAY and thank you for leaving comments! :) It makes me happy.

Life is just toddling along, someone has a fridge that is broken but if it doesn't cost too much to fix it, they will give it to us! Which is awesome cuz we've been without a fridge for nearly 2 weeks now. I don't mind too much tho, me and my friends have been cooking dinners together so I haven't had dinner at my own house for ages! It's really fun, like a little family... almost. :)

Anywho, other than that, I'm just excited that it is becoming summer!!!!! Oh, and I'm SUPER excited to see my family in January in Hawaii!
K, love you all. More pictures to come soon (good scenic ones Tim).

The dust is settling...

That's right, things are sort of settling down in regards to the whole new house thing. But then again, there is always something else that pops up! Like, we still don't have a fridge and that's causing a bit of tension in the house... but nothing too serious. I know it'll all sort out as well. :)

So, I may as well share with you my marvelous revelation that I had last night. I was thinking about my day and the way it totally didn't go how I thought it would. And then I had a moment of clarity - my day, my whole life in fact, is not really mine to plan anyway, it belongs to the Lord. God guides my steps and changes my plans nearly every day because the plans that He has are much better! The clarity on this subject brought about clarity in the area of surrendering my life to God. I actually let go of things and, figuratively, lay them at the feet of my Master Jesus, it was so releasing! Now, whenever I am tempted to pick these things up again by thinking about them, I tell myself, "No, it is not mine to pick up. It belongs to Jesus now and if He wants to, He'll put it back in my hand." :) So there you go, a glimpse into the mind of Drea... scary. ;)

Ok, I love you all... even tho you are still not leaving me any comments! :)
