The dust is settling...

That's right, things are sort of settling down in regards to the whole new house thing. But then again, there is always something else that pops up! Like, we still don't have a fridge and that's causing a bit of tension in the house... but nothing too serious. I know it'll all sort out as well. :)

So, I may as well share with you my marvelous revelation that I had last night. I was thinking about my day and the way it totally didn't go how I thought it would. And then I had a moment of clarity - my day, my whole life in fact, is not really mine to plan anyway, it belongs to the Lord. God guides my steps and changes my plans nearly every day because the plans that He has are much better! The clarity on this subject brought about clarity in the area of surrendering my life to God. I actually let go of things and, figuratively, lay them at the feet of my Master Jesus, it was so releasing! Now, whenever I am tempted to pick these things up again by thinking about them, I tell myself, "No, it is not mine to pick up. It belongs to Jesus now and if He wants to, He'll put it back in my hand." :) So there you go, a glimpse into the mind of Drea... scary. ;)

Ok, I love you all... even tho you are still not leaving me any comments! :)

Hi Drea,
Not sure if this is going to get to you, but here's hoping it does. Glad to hear of your experiences down under. I have no doubt that you are continuing to grow in ways that you hadn't imagined possible. Sounds like your holiday gave you a great break from the regular grind and helped you freshen up for the next term. Good luck....now get back to work!!!

The reason I haven't been commenting, is because I just found this site. It's good to know that things are moving and are eventful still, out there in that land down under. Word on the vine is you know a certain Dempsey...I know a certain Dempsey's friend....This world is smaller than we realize.
