I'm dreaming of a white Chrismas!

... But I won't get it this year! :( Boo. Honestly, it's really starting to hit me that I'm not going home for Christmas this year. I recken that even though I may have something to do at Christmas it'll still be a bit lonely cuz I won't be seeing my family. I love you my family!!!!!!

Anywho, this week is the last week of regular classes for the year. Let me tell you, it's really strange because I'm staying here in Australia over the holidays! It's kind of hard to explain but it's as though it's just dawning on me that I now live in Oz. So weird. It's like, the future is just a big unknown blob of possibilities... not that the future is a blob but it's a good describing word. :) I could go anywhere and do anything! It's very exciting! Not that I couldn't before but missing Christmas with my family is the last annual event that has, up till this point, remained un-missed (I don't know if that's a word but it is now!). So, this is a very big deal for me. And for any of you who feel so inclined to send me something for Christmas, feel free to email me or my family members for my address. It would totally make my day. :)

In other news, as this year is coming to an end, I'm also thinking ahead to all the legal paperwork and stuff I'll have to do in order to say in this country and continue my studies. It would normally be a bit intimidating but I know that God is taking care of me, and that it will all work out, one way or another cuz "...God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called acording to his purpose for them." (Romans 8:28, NLT) Yay! Here's another one, "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand." (Philippians 4:6-7, NLT) This is so true, I'm totally experiencing God's peace about all this stuff in the near future. It's marvelous... what can I say? :)

I think that's it for today. Peace to you...

You know, I haven't seen you for a couple of years now. I was also thinking about who will be around this Christmas, and some of the things I've done in years past. Do you recall setting up the Christmas tree at church, with the youth group, all the way back in '99 or 2000? It was great! Or the hay rides?

I'm sad that you aren't going to be here or even get to see your family, Drea. I hope that you will get some uplifting joy, however. GOD always keeps his children in his heart.

Drea, you're such an amazing woman and are continually encouraging and inspiring me! This Christmas is going to be great for you...and you'll get to see your family shortly after in HAWAII no less!!! And your sister's coming back here...who I'll get to meet...yay (I get to meet a lot of "special people" over the holidays). And no worries, I'll only be gone for 6 weeks!!!
